Tennis Instructor

About The Role:

This role will not be onboarded until September 17th, 2025

The Tennis Instructor is responsible for delivering exceptional service to Four Seasons residents and guests, ensuring a high-quality, engaging, and personalized experience. This role includes teaching lessons, providing private and group instruction, and promoting the sport, while maintaining the highest standards of service and professionalism.

What You Will Do:

1. Be part of the pre-opening team!
2. Assist in delivering high-quality private and group tennis instruction that exceeds guest expectations.
3. Demonstrate a strong ability to play tennis, with a minimum proficiency level of 4.5.
4. Provide exceptional service by handling all member and guest interactions with professionalism, resolving complaints, and accommodating special requests.
5. Greet guests with the ability to describe tennis services and related activities.
6. Assist Attendants to set up tennis courts for daily play with water, balls, towels, etc.
7. Assist Attendants to set up ball machines for guests to practice on courts.
8. Ensure proper stock levels of on-court supplies for instructional programs.
9. Actively promote tennis instruction and related activities to members and guests.
10. Work closely with tennis professionals and other staff during lessons and events.
11. Contribute to maintaining the tennis facility by keeping the courts clean and well-maintained.
12. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.

What You Bring:

1. Minimum of 2+ years experience in the tennis teaching industry at a similar club or luxury resort setting.
2. Professional certification from recognized tennis organizations preferred.
3. Creative yet sound approach to delivering tennis instruction.
4. Understanding of high-quality tennis guest service experience by assessing the skill level of each student and tailoring instruction to their needs.
5. Ability to encourage and motivate others to reach their full potential.
6. Excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic.
7. Ability to work with diverse age groups and skill levels.
8. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
9. Professional manner, discretion, and appearance.
10. Position requires continuous standing, walking, and running for 8 or more hours a day with the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, and to be outside for extended periods of time.
11. Fluency in English is required for this location and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the United States.

Schedule & Hours:

1. This is a full-time position.
2. A successful candidate will have a flexible schedule, with the ability to work afternoon and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.
