Who will you be working with?

Cofren Wabtec Group in Avellino site, is a manufacturer and supplier of brake pads for freight and passenger trains. You will be part of the Finance department, working in a team of 6 people.

How will you make a difference?

As a Chief Accountant, you will be responsible for managing accounting processes, ensuring financial treasury management, performing obligations related to shareholders and board meetings, supervisory body and board of auditors, producing accurate financial statements and reports, and ensuring that all financial transactions comply with standards, Group policies, and legislation.

What will your typical day look like?

• Management and coordination of general, customer, and supplier accounting
• Update Chart of Accounts
• Periodic reconciliations of Balance Sheet accounts
• Prepare financial statements and ensure correct application of taxation
• Financial and treasury management
• Management of insurance coverage, customs, and intrastat
• Control activities under SOX regulations

What do we want to know about you?

• Degree in Economics
• +5 years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge and expertise of civil/tax law on accounting and financial statements
• Knowledge and expertise of national accounting standards (O.I.C.) and USGAAP
• Knowledge and practice of banking techniques with particular reference to collection, payment transactions, and financing operations
• Good knowledge of MS Office, expert in Excel
• Professional knowledge of English
• Decision making and proactivity
• Precision and organizational skills
• Able to work in a team and manage resources
