Technical Service Specialist

As aTechnical Service Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our mission—ensuring our diagnostic instruments perform at their best to support accurate and timely patient care. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and upgrading our systems, supporting installations, and delivering exceptional service to our customers.

What You’ll Do
  • Be thefirst line of supportfor Abbott Ambassadors, resolving service issues efficiently (under 4 hours labor time).
  • Plan and execute maintenance activities to ensure optimal instrument performance.
  • Assist withinstrument installations and deinstallations, contributing to seamless transitions for our clients.
  • Supporthardware and software upgrades(TSBs) to keep systems up to date.
How Success is Measured
  • Customer satisfaction(NPS)
  • Achievement ofservice KPIs
  • Contribution toeconomic growth and profitabilityin your district
What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degreeor equivalent experience in:
    • Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, Biotechnology, or Clinical Engineering
  • 2–3 years of experiencein a similar technical service role
  • Proven ability toengage with lab staff and healthcare professionals
  • Strongtechnical expertisein diagnostic instruments
  • Excellentcommunication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency inanalytical tools and software
