Pay Rate: $75,000 per year
Hours: M-F, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM Eastern Time

Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT system administrator to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial to ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and directly contributing to the efficiency and success of our logistics operations. This role is ideal for someone with a hands‑on mentality, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to work independently in a fast‑paced logistics environment. Your main tasks will include the setup and maintenance of core infrastructure components, as well as providing tier 2/3 support for different IT colleagues in departments across the US.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing, monitoring, and building out systems in current and future departments across the US will be your main focus.
  • In doing so, you’ll apply the requirements and best practices set out by the centralized IT department. You’ll work closely with internal teams and report on project progress, incidents, and future improvements in a timely manner.
  • You’ll provide Tier 2/3 support for hardware, software, and network‑related incidents to IT colleagues in multiple departments in the US.
  • You’ll work on projects to improve internal operations in collaboration with external vendors and service providers as needed.
  • Implementation and monitoring of backup, patching, and disaster recovery procedures will be your responsibility.
  • You’ll take ownership of internal IT systems, including cloud servers (Azure, AWS), networks (Cisco Meraki), and user endpoints, in close cooperation with the centralized EU IT department.

All this is always carried out in accordance with our company's quality, environmental, and health policies.

  • Accurate work:Your work reflects precision and a low error rate. Documenting in a clear, correct manner comes naturally to you.
  • Proactive attitude:Ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems proactively.
  • Hands‑on mentality: You have an enterprising mindset and are not afraid of doing the work yourself. We work as a team and do more than our part when needed.
  • Ownership: You are not afraid to take ownership of systems and tasks to improve them in the service of the operations and IT teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (min 5 years) as a system administrator or similar role in a corporate environment.
  • Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and cloud services like Azure and AWS is required.
  • Experience with setting up new Cisco Meraki network environments is required.
  • Knowledge of VoIP, DNS, DHCP, Print servers, and other core infrastructure components is required.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, etc.) are a plus.
  • Some cross‑country travel may be required.
  • Must be physically able to lift up to 50lbs and climb up, under, around, and over large equipment; comfortable working in small, confined spaces, and at heights of up to 30 feet in a non‑climate‑controlled environment.
