In this executive role, you will manage regional tax matters, ensuring compliance and optimising strategies. You will lead a team of specialists while collaborating with global tax leadership. We're looking for someone with at least 10 years of direct/indirect tax experience and strong leadership skills. The role offers a hybrid work model, emphasizing growth through mentorship.

Reports To

Business Chief Financial Officer

Reporting directly to the Robotics Global Head of Tax, you will take regional responsibility for managing direct and indirect tax matters across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). You will shape and lead the Robotics Tax function in the region, ensuring compliance, driving tax optimisation, and supporting business growth through expert guidance and strong stakeholder engagement. You will collaborate closely with global tax leadership and other regional tax teams to harmonise practices, optimise resources, and enable effective decision‑making.

Accountable For

• Build and lead the Robotics Tax function in EMEA, managing Regional Tax Specialists and overseeing the regional legal and tax structure.
• Ensure tax compliance across the region, implement global tax initiatives, and establish controls, processes, and risk frameworks.
• Drive effective tax rate (ETR) improvements, identify tax savings opportunities, and support simplification and efficiency initiatives.
• Act as Country Tax Responsible for selected countries — overseeing filings, approvals, audits, disputes, managing outsourced providers, internal controls, and other country tax matters.
• Advise the business on tax implications of transactions, maintain strong relationships with external advisors and authorities, and collaborate with key stakeholders to support decision‑making and planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, tax, or law.
• Minimum 10 years’ proven experience in direct and/or indirect tax, ideally in multinational settings.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide teams and collaborate across functions.
• Excellent analytical capability and ability to work independently in a fast‑moving environment.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with proven stakeholder influence and engagement experience.
