Job Description Summary

Perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line, including Service Shops. Owns and influences budgets and operating plans guided by operating policy. Works with cross-functional teams in an exciting leadership role within the fast-growing GE HealthCare PDx Molecular Imaging business. Responsible for managing teams that oversee outsourced manufacturing of molecular imaging (MI) drug products within the EU, as well as the supply of related consumables and raw materials globally. Critical to maintaining production consistency across multiple countries and managing complex outsourced relationships. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong operational acumen, supply chain leadership, and the ability to manage remote teams and partnerships. The role operates with autonomy within the MI segment and influences strategic decisions and budgeting.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of external manufacturing partners to ensure reliability, quality, and compliance in MI drug product production.
  • Manage the end-to-end supply chain for raw materials and consumables, ensuring timely availability and cost-effective sourcing.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with CMOs and suppliers, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory standards.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration across quality, regulatory, procurement, and logistics teams to support manufacturing and supply continuity.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain performance, cost optimisation, and risk mitigation.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to remote teams across multiple countries, fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.
  • Own and influence operating plans and budgets related to external manufacturing and supply chain activities.
  • Apply evaluative judgment to resolve complex operational challenges and recommend best practices informed by industry trends.
  • Present business and technical solutions to senior leadership and negotiate with stakeholders to drive strategic outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Significant experience in manufacturing and operations management within the pharmaceutical or molecular imaging domain.
  • Proven track record in managing outsourced or contract manufacturing operations.
  • Strong understanding of GMP, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance in drug product manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead remote, cross-border teams and manage multi-country supply chains.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering).

Travel

This role requires regular travel within the EU and occasionally outside, not exceeding approximately 50%.
