An art gallery in Rome is seeking an experienced Director to lead its commercial growth across the Italian and international art markets. The successful candidate will work closely with the London team and oversee the gallery’s strategic direction. A proven track record in sales, established relationships in the art market, and a minimum of 5 years’ experience at a comparable gallery are required. The position offers a salary of €50,000 to €80,000 per annum plus commissions.

We are seeking an experienced Director to lead our Rome gallery and drive its commercial growth across the Italian and international art markets.

The successful candidate will oversee the gallery’s strategic and commercial direction, working in close collaboration with our London team to align exhibitions, art fairs and client development.

Applicants must demonstrate extensive experience in both the primary and secondary markets, established relationships with collectors, curators and institutions, and a proven track record of generating sales and building long-term partnerships within Italy, and globally.

Only those who are eligible to work in Italy can be considered.

Salary: €50,000 – €80,000 per annum + sales commissions.

• Ensure an exceptional standard of client service and gallery presentation.
• Contribute to the gallery’s wider international strategy, working closely with the Founder and directors.
