Overview

For our client, a multinational manufacturing company in the fashion furniture industry, we are looking for a :

Responsibilities

• Responsible for production goals by reporting to the plant manager
• Management of operational flows, workloads and operational planning of the department
• Responsibility and staff management (including temps) according to budget, drawing on HRBP support for enforcement of company policies, management of absenteeism, motivation development programs, education and training etc.
• Responsible for the safety of the department
• Responsible for efficiency, productivity, quality targets and planned dates for product delivery
• Collaborates with all areas related to Production (Planning, RSPP, Process Engineering, Product Engineering, and IN / OUT Logistics)
• Collaborates specifically with the Quality Area in order to manage non-conformities and corrective actions on Production / Product
• The resource will manage the operations area and will report to him / her the respective facilitators

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical / management field (management engineering / mechanical engineering / ...) or a technical high school diploma
• At least 5 years' experience in managing complex assembly production departments with a consistent and continuous high volume production runs
• Experience in managing high-volume production assembly lines
• Specific training program on product, process and business methodologies of continuous improvement (MKPS - Performance System) is provided
• Proactive and open to change attitude: change project management experience
• Knowledge of material processing technologies: wood, metals, polyurethanes, upholstery, fabrics and leather is a plus
• Good knowledge of written and spoken English
• Knowledge and use of ISO standards and Quality System
