Overview
Clerk II (holding the functional title of Executive Assistant) role at Teacher of Arts (High school) Philosophy of the Arts (HKU).
Responsibilities
- Provide support in planning, organising, and executing events, workshops, seminars, and other promotional activities.
- Coordinate logistics including venue arrangements, catering, and technical requirements.
- Assist in drafting and proofreading promotional materials and invitations.
- Liaise with vendors, partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth event execution.
- Maintain social media accounts and update content related to events and activities.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as needed and other duties assigned.
- Working outside normal office hours and on weekends may be required.
Qualifications
- Five HKCEE passes including English (min. grade C if Syllabus A/Level 2 from 2007), Chinese (Level 2 from 2007) and Mathematics, OR five subjects with at least Level 2 in HKDSEE including English, Chinese and Mathematics; at least 4 years of full-time work experience in event management, communications, marketing, or related field.
- Good command of English and Chinese.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Chinese word processing.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills; good sense of responsibility; ability to work independently and in a team.
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks, meet tight deadlines, handle multiple projects, and maintain confidentiality and data protection.
- Mature, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
- Applicants with a recognised Bachelor’s degree will be considered for appointment holding the functional title of Executive Assistant.
