The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and over 3 years of experience in AI systems. Proficiency in Python and familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow are essential. Responsibilities include developing AI models, collaborating with teams, and optimizing model performance. Bonus points for a Master's degree, experience with VLMs, or knowledge of cloud ML platforms.

We're looking for a skilled freelance AI / ML Engineer to support us in designing and deploying AI-driven solutions that tackle complex real-world challenges.

What You’ll Do

• Design and deploy AI models for complex business problems
• Fine-tune LLMs (e.g., LLaMA, Mistral, Falcon) for domain-specific tasks
• Build and manage data pipelines for model training and inference
• Develop scalable model deployment strategies in production environments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build AI-powered applications
• Monitor model performance and optimize for accuracy and efficiency
• Stay up to date with the latest in AI, LLMs, and model optimization

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying AI / ML systems
• Strong Python skills with PyTorch and / or TensorFlow
• Experience with transformers and LLMs
• Familiarity with model optimization (quantization, pruning, distillation)
• Solid grasp of MLOps and deployment workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Bonus Points (Preferred)

• Master's degree in AI, ML, or related area
• Experience with Vision-Language Models (VLMs) and multimodal AI
• Knowledge of embeddings, vector DBs, and semantic search
• Familiarity with LangChain, LlamaIndex, and RAG techniques
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud ML platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Industrial domain experience is a plus
