The GrabFin Reliability & Developer Experience (RDX) Team is elevating engineering excellence across GrabFin's large-scale organization, covering critical services in payments, lending, insurance, and digital goods.

We're seeking experienced and passionate engineers to join our impactful team. You have experience collaborative teamwork and delivering exceptional platform/backend system solutions. If you're ready to make a difference, we want to hear from you! You'll create impact to millions of users across Southeast Asia. You will report to the Engineering Manager and will work fully on-site in our Jakarta office.

• You design, develop, and maintain software components, tools, and services
• You partner with product engineering teams to discover and solve critical pain points
• You collaborate with platform engineering teams to share knowledge and align strategies
• You ensure punctual delivery of high quality, maintainable, and reliable code
• You lead the planning and rollout of internal tools and products
• You participate in technical and product reviews
• You provide guidance, mentorship, and knowledge sharing to your peers

• You have Heart, Hunger, Honour, and Humility
• You have a degree in Engineering – specialization in Computer Science will be an advantage
• You have at least 4+ years of working experience in a relevant field
• You are proficient in one or more programming languages (we mostly use Go) and the fundamentals of CS, such as data structures and algorithms
• You have a working knowledge of building distributed backend systems with DBMS (SQL, NoSQL) and caches (Redis) – Kubernetes, Kafka, and AI-tooling experience will be an advantage
• You have a thoughtful experience in building scalable, resilient, and observable distributed systems and automation-first approach
• You are experience in team collaboration project with written and spoken English
