Job summary

A service solution provider in oil and gas is seeking a Well Control Specialist to ensure safe and efficient drilling operations. The ideal candidate will have a D3 qualification, at least 3 years of experience in Well Control, and solid analytical and communication skills. Proficiency in English and an AK3 Umum certificate are preferred. This role is crucial for optimizing performance and addressing potential risks in the drilling process.

Overview

• Minimum D3 majoring in oil and gas related program
• Minimum 3 (three) years of work experience in Well Control operation.
• Having a strong understanding of the principles of well control in drilling operations.
• Having strong analytical skills in understanding drilling data, interpreting drilling data, identifying potential issues and risks in drilling
• Having good communication skills and the ability to make accurate decisions based on data.
• Basic Windows and Microsoft Office Software knowledge
• Intermediate in English both speaking and writing.
• Preferably have a valid AK3 Umum certificate

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• Ensuring drilling operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in accordance with safety standards
• Analyzing and evaluating drilling data to ensure smooth drilling operations
• Monitoring real-time drilling parameters and identifying anomalies and potential issues in drilling operations.
• Responsible for early detection of drilling hazards and provide recommendations for optimizing all drilling operations
• Providing technical solutions and advice to improve operational performance and drilling success.
• Performs troubleshooting, patching, and cleaning data during real-time operations
• Maintains daily reports and records any issues related for performance improvement
• Prepares and submits final Well Control Data Application for each well
• Communicates with other team such as HSE, Field engineer specialist and Developer for the successful progress of the project
• Develop knowledge and skills related to the scope of the related work field, and apply it to their work.
• Sharing knowledge and expertise within the organization, in order to create a high-performing organization.
