Job Opening: Travel Designer (Product Department)

Employment Type: Full-time, On-site

Working Schedule: 5 days per week (office-based)

This position is open only to applicants who are currently living in Bali.

Applicants based outside Bali will not be considered at this stage.

Go Vacation Indonesia is a Destination Management Company (DMC) based in Bali, specializing in high-quality, tailor‑made travel experiences across Indonesia. We work closely with international B2B partners and tour operators to design journeys that combine strong destination knowledge, thoughtful details, and smooth on‑the‑ground operations.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Travel Designer to join our Product Department in Bali. In this role, you will be responsible for designing custom itineraries and quotations for our international partners. You will translate travel briefs into well‑structured, creative, and operationally sound travel proposals, combining attention to detail with a strong sense of destination flow and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design tailor‑made itineraries across Indonesia based on client briefs, budgets, and travel preferences
  • Prepare clear, detailed, and accurate quotations covering accommodation, transportation, activities, guides, and special requests
  • Coordinate with suppliers and internal operations teams to ensure feasibility, availability, and service quality
  • Present travel proposals professionally via email or WhatsApp and follow up proactively
  • Revise and refine itineraries based on partner feedback until final confirmation
  • Stay updated on product developments, new experiences, and destination trends
  • Support internal handovers to operations teams to ensure smooth trip execution

Requirements

  • Very good English, written and spoken (proposals must be clear, polished, and client‑ready)
  • Experience in itinerary design, travel consulting, product, or tour operations is strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian destinations and logical travel routing
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently under deadlines while maintaining quality
  • Confident communicator with a client‑oriented mindset
  • Willing to work 5 days per week on‑site at our Bali office

This position is open only to candidates who are legally eligible to work in Indonesia. Visa sponsorship is not provided for this position.

Language Skills

  • English: Mandatory (very good level)
  • French: A strong advantage
