Role Overview

As a Core Engineering Intern, you will collaborate with highly skilled engineers to tackle some of the most complex engineering challenges in the trading domain. This internship offers exposure to cutting-edge technology and the opportunity to contribute to mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and enhancing the firm's Post Trade Platform tools, including reference data management, trade capture, reconciliation, P&L, trade cost management, surveillance, compliance, and regulatory functions.
• Work with stakeholders to gather and define user requirements for new features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build reliable, scalable, and high-performance software systems.
• Drive technological innovation in building next-generation middle office and back-office applications and processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, shell scripting, and Linux systems.
• Familiarity with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, ElasticSearch) is highly desirable.
