About the role

Pt Island Connections International is seeking a talented and customer‑focused Guest Relation Expert to join our team in Batam, Riau Islands. This part‑time role will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services and creating memorable experiences for our valued customers. As the face of our company, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the satisfaction and enjoyment of our guests throughout their stay.

What you'll be doing
  • Greeting and welcoming guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly reception
  • Resolving guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally
  • Assisting guests with check‑in and check‑out procedures
  • Providing recommendations and information about local attractions, activities and dining options
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the guest reception area
  • Actively listening to guest feedback and implementing improvements to enhance the overall guest experience
What we're looking for
  • Previous experience in a customer‑facing role, preferably within the hospitality industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests from diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent problem‑solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Proficiency in English and the local language(s)
