TOOLING - CNC PROGRAMMER / MOLD DESIGNER / TOOL MAKER

We are the SWISS COMPANY specialized electronics manufacturing & injection molding in Batam.

We are now seeking for the following professionals as follows :

TOOLING - CNC PROGRAMMER / MOULD DESIGNER / TOOL MAKER

Job Description Summary :

Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and vernier calipers.

Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, CNC milling machines, shapers, or grinders.

Measure, examine, and test completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers

Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic and CNC machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operations.

Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.

Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.

Study sample parts, drawings, and engineering information in order to determine methods and sequences of operations needed to fabricate products, and determine product dimensions and tolerances.

Clean and lubricate machines, tools, and equipment in order to remove grease, rust, stains, and foreign matter.

Read Technical Drawings and set up the machines in accordance with these blueprints.

Use computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordingly.

Perform quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specifications.

Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise.

Planning and controlling for mould maintaining and repairin on daily basis.

Support production and guarantee on time availability of to to ensure continuous production.

Spare part management and keep on stock.

Review production scheduling to prioritize and direct toolin maintenance and repair activities.

Provide engineering floor support on production injection moulds for trouble shooting to minimize down time.

Use data driven approach to tooling counts shots and main nance history to predictively schedule necessary actions to minimize tooling cost.

Produce written reports and make presantations.

To execute Maintenance, Repair and check mould buy off for customer requirement.

Required:

Min. of Diploma in Tool and Diemaking / Technical / Relevant.

Min. of 2 years Tooling Experience (insert, jig, fixture machining, Mould Designer, Tool Maker / Relevant fields).

CNC Tool Room and Software such as NX Siemens & Master Cam.

CAM Software knowladge (Unigraphics).

Proficient in Reading Technical Drawing, Precision Machining, Basic Math Skills, Geometric Tolerance Skills,

Possess a general knowledge of tooling speeds and feed rates.
