About the role

As the General Manager of the Food Production Factory at PT.WAN', you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, operations, and growth of the company’s food manufacturing facility located in Medan Deli, North Sumatra. This is a full‑time position that will require you to lead a team of production managers, logistics coordinators, and quality assurance specialists to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of high‑quality food products to customers.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing production targets, policies, and procedures to optimise factory efficiency and productivity.
• Overseeing the procurement of raw materials, production scheduling, and inventory management to meet customer demand.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and minimise operational costs.
• Collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to align production with customer requirements.
• Providing strategic leadership and direction to the factory management team.
• Reporting on key performance indicators and financial metrics to the company's senior executives.
