Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor Degree/Master Degree in Maritime Studies - ATT 1/2.
• Sailing experience as Engineer / Chief Engineer or 2nd Engineer in tanker/MV with at least 2 contracts.
• Fluency in English is required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vessels are in operational condition through technical treatments.
• Monitor and establish reasons for vessel wear and develop prevention strategies.
• Carry out direct surveys on board as per statutory requirements.
• Provide solutions to technical issues encountered on vessels.
• Plan and supervise monthly spare parts usage and stock.
