Job summary

A leading energy company in Tangerang Selatan is seeking a Project Accountant to manage financial and accounting activities. The ideal candidate will assist in monitoring project operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and budgeting. Responsibilities include invoicing management, cost estimation, and compliance with SHE programs. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, with 2-3 years of relevant experience, and familiarity with SAP systems. Strong attention to detail and fluency in English are preferred.

Qualifications

• Overtime may be required to meet report deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in monitoring day-to-day finance and accounting operations.
• Responsible for revenue estimates and subcontractor cost estimates.
• Liaise with cost control to ensure capex is in line with budget.
• Maintain and implement SHE programs.

Job description

Responsible to Project Accountant activities relating to Finance and Accounting function activities in order to produce timely and accurate financial information specifically for project management purpose and Corporate.

Job Responsibilities

Assist Direct Superior in monitoring and controlling day-to-day F&A operations for projects, including project reporting, P&L analysis, budget and forecast preparation, account reconciliation, and administration. Also responsible for the following items:

• Revenue estimates (including production data)
• Major subcontractor and supplier cost estimates
• Balance scorecard
• Contingency
• Risks and opportunities
• Other costs, equipment rate, capital expenditures

Direct superior is well assisted.

Responsible to monitor the invoicing process (progress claim, commercial invoice and variation claims) to ensure all work progress by the Company is booked, billed to the Client and paid within the payment terms of each contract.

Identify financial aspects in contractual clauses (e.g. financial implications of damages, billing, and other related financial clauses) and provide new concepts, approaches or feedback. New concepts, approaches and feedback are accurately provided.

Responsible to liaise with cost control in preparing weekly and monthly project capex reports during its construction period to ensure capex is in-line with the approved budget. Cost control is in-line with the approved budget.

Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibilities (identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conforms to official standards, requirements and procedures applied and confirm the execution of the SHE responsibilities meets the intended outcome.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
