About the role

Full‑time position based in Timika, Papua Tengah. As the Superintendent of Heavy‑Duty Maintenance, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the organization’s heavy equipment. This is a critical role that contributes directly to the overall productivity and success of the company.

What you’ll be doing
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of a wide range of heavy equipment, ensuring all machinery is maintained to the highest standards of reliability and operational readiness.
  • Design and implement preventive maintenance programs that extend equipment lifespan, reduce unplanned downtime, and optimize overall fleet performance.
  • Lead and mentor a team of skilled technicians and mechanics, providing clear guidance, structured training, and ongoing performance feedback to build a high‑performing workforce.
  • Monitor equipment performance trends, identify inefficiencies, and develop targeted improvement plans that enhance productivity and reduce maintenance costs.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to integrate maintenance activities into production schedules, ensuring minimal disruption to mining operations.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs, ensuring data integrity for compliance and reporting purposes.
  • Enforce strict compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a proactive safety culture across all maintenance operations.
  • Manage spare parts inventory effectively, ensuring critical components are available when needed while controlling costs and reducing waste.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by introducing best practices, new technologies, and innovative solutions to improve maintenance efficiency.
  • Prepare comprehensive maintenance reports and present findings to management, highlighting key performance indicators and recommending strategic actions.
What we’re looking for

  2. Demonstrated expertise in the maintenance and repair of a wide range of heavy equipment
