The Strategic Partnership & Business Development (Investment) role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing partnership and investment opportunities that support the company’s strategic growth. This position works closely with internal stakeholders (Investment, Strategy, Product, Commercial, Finance, Legal) and external partners (corporates, distributors, vendors, government stakeholders, and potential investors) to accelerate expansion and unlock new revenue opportunities. The ideal candidate has strong analytical capability, financial acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to build long-term strategic relationships across multiple geographies.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Partnership Development
- Identify, prioritize, and execute strategic partnership opportunities aligned with company goals (market expansion, supply chain improvement, product localization, distribution, licensing, etc.).
- Conduct market mapping to identify potential partners, suppliers, distributors, or JV opportunities.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across industries and regions (SEA, China, MENA, etc.).
- Drive end-to-end partnership lifecycle: outreach, evaluation, negotiation, contracting, and onboarding.
Investment & Business Opportunity Evaluation
- Perform financial modeling, valuation, and feasibility assessments for potential investments or collaborations.
- Support due diligence processes for M&A, JV, or minority investment opportunities.
- Prepare investment memos, business cases, and recommendations to leadership.
- Monitor portfolio or strategic partner performance and report insights to senior management.
Growth & Market Expansion Initiatives
- Identify new markets, customer segments, and operational opportunities to accelerate company growth.
- Analyze competitive landscape, regulatory landscapes, and market trends to inform expansion strategies.
- Work cross-functionally to design go-to-market (GTM) and commercialization strategies for new regions.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with Product, R&D, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Overseas Teams to support execution of partnership and investment projects.
- Ensure smooth internal alignment on deal terms, timelines, contract requirements, and partnership goals.
Strategic Planning & Reporting
- Prepare executive reports, dashboards, and presentations for CEO, CFO, and Board-level discussions.
- Track and monitor key partnership metrics, investment returns, and business outcomes.
- Support long-term strategic planning and annual operating plan (AOP) processes.
Requirements
Must-Have
- - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
- - 3–7 years experience in Strategic Partnerships, Corporate Development, Business Development, Consulting, Investment Banking, Venture Capital, or Strategy.
- - Strong understanding of financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis.
- - Experience negotiating commercial agreements, partnership contracts, or investment deals.
- - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
- - Strong analytical and problem-solving capability; comfortable working with complex financial and business data.
- - High level of initiative, ownership, and ability to execute projects independently.

- - Experience in fast-growing tech, consumer products, FMCG, or cross-border operations.
- - Knowledge of China, SEA, or global expansion strategies.
