Job description

Overview

We are seeking for skilled software developers with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in Java and a strong background in Spring and web technologies such as Thymeleaf, React.js and Restful web services (or equivalent frameworks). The ideal candidate should also have experience working with SQL databases like PostgreSQL, SQL Server, along with a solid understanding of application security and performance optimization. Familiarity with modern development workflows and tools such as Git, CI/CD pipelines and Agile practices is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions that support financial transactions and critical business systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, risk, operations, and compliance to deliver new features safely and reliably.
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code following engineering and security best practices.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure system correctness, reliability, and regression safety.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback with a strong focus on quality, security, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize systems with attention to performance, resilience, and data integrity in production environments.
• Contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions, balancing speed of delivery with risk and compliance considerations.
• Continuously learn and apply new technologies, tools, and best practices to improve system stability, security, and development efficiency.

Added Advantage

• Knowledge in payment or related systems such as Payment Gateway, Reconciliation, Fraud Detection, 3DS authentication, etc.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or DevOps practices.
• Awareness of security, compliance, or audit requirements (e.g. PCI-DSS, data protection).
