Job description

Senior Service Engineering (Electrical Specialist)

Minimum Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field.

At least 3 years of experience in a similar field service engineer role with a strong electrical and electronics background.

Experience or capability to work as a Project Manager, including project coordination, scheduling, reporting, and on-site supervision.

Excellent skills in troubleshooting and problem-solving for both electrical and mechanical systems.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including control panels, wiring, motors, inverters, and control circuits.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematic diagrams.

Basic knowledge of PLC, sensors, relays, contactors, and other control components (experience with specific brands is an advantage).

Proficient in using electrical and electronic measuring instruments.

Excellent communication skills, able to interact professionally with customers and internal teams.

Able to work independently in a professional field service environment as well as part of a team.

Willing to perform on-site service, field work, and business trips.

Able to drive a car and must possess a valid driving license (SIM A).

Willing to work on weekends (Saturday–Sunday) and during long public holidays, including Lebaran/Eid holidays and year-end holidays, when required by project or operational needs.

Physically and mentally fit, capable of working under pressure and meeting service targets.

Good understanding of electrical safety standards and workplace safety (EHS/K3).

Responsibilities

Visit customer sites to perform installation, commissioning, and service activities for welding systems and SPM equipment.

Repair and troubleshoot welding system and SPM products, including electrical, electronic, and mechanical components.

Conduct genba checks (on-site inspections) to identify issues, analyze root causes, and ensure proper machine operation.

Provide technical training and on-site support to customers related to welding systems and SPM operation and maintenance.

Deliver technical support and respond to customer issues in a professional and timely manner.

Analyze unresolved or recurring problems, prepare service reports, and elevate issues to the internal engineering team.

Follow up with manufacturers (makers) regarding technical issues, countermeasures, and corrective actions.

Act as a Project Manager or Project Coordinator for installation and service projects, ensuring timelines, quality and safety requirements are met.

Prepare and submit service reports, project documentation and technical feedback after each site activity.
