Our client is a global company in the energy and environment engineering industry. They provide integrated solutions in heating, cooling, power, water, and waste management, with a focus on sustainability and efficient resource deployment.

The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for driving the sales and marketing of industrial capital goods, with a focus on understanding customer needs and delivering competitive proposals. This role requires a demonstrated capability of closing project orders and engaging in techno-commercial discussions with clients, consultants, and EPC contractors. The Sales Manager will also be responsible for tracking market trends, managing key accounts, and expanding relationships with OEMs, consultants, and EPCs within Indonesia's industrial landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve targets as outlined in the Annual Business Plan.
  • Lead the sales and marketing efforts for industrial capital goods, with preference for experience in sales of boilers and heaters.
  • Demonstrate the ability to close complex project orders.
  • Generate customer inquiries, understand needs, and develop competitive proposals.
  • Engage in detailed techno-commercial discussions with clients, consultants, and EPC contractors.
  • Analyze market trends and provide insights to the team, developing new relationships with OEMs, consultants, and EPCs.
  • Manage key accounts and maintain strong relationships with OEM partners.
  • Utilize a deep understanding of Indonesia's industrial sector to map the market and track competition.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings.
  • Excellent networking and interpersonal skills.
  • Process-oriented and results-driven approach.
  • Extensive knowledge of Indonesia's industrial landscape across multiple industries.
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication in English and Bahasa Indonesia. Knowledge of any other languages is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Willingness to travel extensively as required.
