The Project Sales Specialist drives revenue growth by securing contracts from Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) companies and/or direct sales to end-users for brownfield (retrofit/upgrade/expansion) and greenfield (new build) projects in the power generation, industrial, and mining sectors. This strategic role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to deliver complete solutions while building long-term partnerships with clients.
Responsibilities
- Business Development & Market Strategy
- Develop and execute sales strategies for both EPC firms and direct end-users (utilities, IPPs, mining operators, industrial manufacturers).
- Identify, pursue and execute opportunities in:
- Brownfield: Modernizations, digitalization, capacity expansions, efficiency upgrades.
- Greenfield: New power plants (renewable/fossil), new industrial plants, processing facilities, mining infrastructure.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers across the project ecosystem.
- Feedback market information such as market trend, customers' needs, and competition activities in Indonesia.
- Technical Sales & Solution Development
- Lead technical-commercial proposal development for complex projects.
- Collaborate with proposal & engineering teams to design customized solutions addressing Brownfield & Greenfield challenges.
- Present comprehensive value propositions to both EPC partners and end-users.
- Work with Customer Support Representatives in EA PDSS to ensure prompt FAT, shipments, and services.
- Work with Project Manager in EA PDSS to ensure prompt schedule, project management and technical matters.
- Provide technical support including customized solutions to meet customers' need and respond to questions from customers in Indonesia.
- Attend meetings with customers to obtain feedback and complaints regarding products.
- Establish the sales budget and profit planning of the Business.
- Provide the monthly/rolling sales and order forecast of Indonesia to the region and the supervisor.
- Provide bi-weekly business update report to supervisor including participation in monthly or biweekly conference call hosted by supervisor.
- Liaise with Credit department for payment terms and credit lines of customers, agents, and distributors.
- Organize training to the channels in Indonesia for Foreign Corruption Practice Acts and Business Ethics.
- Make sales visit plan.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, major in Electrical Engineering or others related with Business.
- 8 Years or above related experience.
- Basic technical knowledge of Electrical distribution and protection products and solutions particularly within Greenfield and Brownfield EPC projects.
