Job description

We're looking for a Senior Mechanical Estimator to lead cost estimation for our industrial machinery products. You'll determine project feasibility and pricing strategy for complex equipment like dryers, heaters, and air handling units—directly impacting which projects we pursue and our profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project cost estimates based on engineering drawings, specifications, and project requirements
• Analyse project scope, resource needs, and potential risks to provide accurate price and timeline projections
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to refine estimates and timelines
• Identify opportunities to improve estimation processes and tools

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a Project Estimator or similar role in the engineering industry
• Proficient in using cost estimation software and tools, such as spreadsheet modeling and AutoCAD
• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Willingness to travel to client sites in Jakarta and other cities 20% of the time

Based in Jakarta with approximately 2 client site visits per month within the Greater Jakarta area or other cities such as Surabaya and Semarang.

Reports to Sales Manager in the Machinery division and works closely with Technical and Operations teams.
