Currently, we are seeking a Legal Counsel to join our team located in Canggu, Bali. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and support to the business, ensuring all operations and decisions are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. This role will play a critical part in protecting the company's legal interests, managing risks, and contributing to strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents and commercial contracts, including agreements with vendors, partners, and clients.
  • Provide sound legal counsel and guidance to various departments on business operations, corporate governance, and compliance matters.
  • Manage the application, renewal, and reporting of all business licenses via OSS RBA and relevant government agencies (NIB, Land Use, Environmental Permits, etc.).
  • Monitor changes in laws/regulations and ensure all business operations remain fully compliant with the latest legal frameworks.
  • Manage legal and regulatory risks, and develop internal policies and procedures to ensure adherence to all legal requirements.
  • Assist in corporate legal matters, including corporate secretarial duties and licensing.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Law from a reputable university.
  • 7 years of experience in a law firm or as in‑house legal counsel.
  • Solid knowledge of corporate law, licensing, commercial law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven experience in drafting and negotiating contracts.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
