Senior / Lead iOS Engineer

What You'll Do

• Maintain and evolve YesDok’s iOS Telemedicine application using Swift and core iOS frameworks.
• Design and implement critical features (Video/Audio Consultations, Chat, E-Prescription) based on a dynamic product roadmap.
• Lead the architectural decision-making and development of reusable components to ensure modularity and scalability for team expansion.
• Integrate the app with secure backend services, Insurance APIs, and WebRTC SDKs (e.g., Agora/Twilio) for stable real-time communication.
• Monitor crash rates and video session stability; take extreme ownership to target a 99.9% crash-free session rate.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, QA, and fellow engineers in an agile environment to adapt quickly to changing business requirements.
• Mentor junior iOS engineers and foster a culture of "Active Teamwork" through rigorous code reviews and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on iOS.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Swift and proven contributions to commercial applications with high user traffic.
• Advanced proficiency in Swift and strong understanding of AVFoundation and iOS memory management.
• Experience working with modern concurrency (Async/Await), design patterns, and scalable architecture (e.g., MVVM).
• Familiarity with data security standards (Encryption, Keychain, SSL Pinning) to meet HIPAA compliance is a major plus.
• Comfortable with tools like Fastlane, Bitrise/Jenkins, XCTest, and Instruments for performance profiling is a major plus.
• Proven ability to guide junior team members and work effectively within a dynamic, fast‑paced collaborative environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
