Joining IT Operations and R&D

Within IT, the IT Operations and R&D team is an experienced, nimble & expert team composed of multiple sub streams. The main purpose of the team is to lead the digital strategy and transformation of Operations and Products functions through effective business partnering and conceptualizing, delivering and supporting state of the art and secure IT technologies across the end‑to‑end value chain.

We are seeking an IT Solution Expert – Procurement to join our IT Product & Operations platform team, based in Krakow.

The digitalization of the Procurement is considered as a key pillar of the PMI's digital transformation, with the vision of delivering an attractive and consistent consumer experience, across multiple product categories and omni‑channel. The ambition is to provide an integrated digital platform that, leveraging state‑of‑the‑art technologies (cloud‑based platform, AI, ML, advanced analytics), enables a full end‑to‑end visibility and drastically improves the overall cost‑to‑serve.

As an IT Solution Expert – Procurement, you will identify and deliver the best possible solutions to meet our business requirements, maximizing standard functionalities and features of the existing or future systems that support the Strategic Procurement (Source to Contract) processes. Experience with eSourcing and Contract Lifecycle Management software or new automated/digital tools within procurement would be an advantage.

Your “day to day”

• Partner and collaborate with business stakeholders and IT leadership to support transformation of end to end digital landscape (Source to Contract, interlocking Vendor Mgmt., Supplier Info Mgmt., and Purchase to Pay)
• Design and configure key applications, to meet business needs while ensuring alignment with IT standards
• Design and test data interfaces to enable process intelligence, aligned to the future core
• Manage IT deployment of applications and POCs potential solutions
• Coordinate activities with software vendors, System Integrators and PMI IT teams to deliver transformation for a technology enabled process
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of product functionality and its dependence on release levels
• Support RFI and RFP processes for IT solutions
• Support issue resolution for deployed solutions to maintain service quality
• Support activities to ensure information security standards are met by deployed solutions

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• At least 6 years of professional experience in Procurement applications and/or Procurement operations
• University degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent
• Proven Experience of implementing eSourcing (e.g. Workday Scout, Ariba, Coupa) and Contract Lifecycle Management applications (e.g. Icertis, Ariba, Coupa, docusign)
• Excellent understanding of End-to-End Procurement processes (sourcing, contract management, supplier collaboration)
• Excellent understanding of procurement data (Suppliers, RFX, Contracts) and analytics
• Understanding of Source-to-Contract integration points with Purchase-to-Pay, Finance, legal, Supplier management and risk management
• Proven experience of working with distributed business and IT teams and vendors
• Stakeholder management experience and excellent communication skills
• Ability to set priorities, identify “musts” and “nice-to-have” with key business stakeholders
• Project Management and/or Lean/Agile tools expertise highly desirable
• Passion for continuous learning in a changing environment
• Consumer‑centric approach and mindset, problem‑solving aptitude
• A collaborative approach, comfortable with all types of external and internal partners
