Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Fintech / Card Issuing)

Atmetica is building a next-generation card issuing & Banking-as-a-Service platform. We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (backend-heavy) to work closely with the founder and take ownership of core fintech systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead integration with card‑issuing/payment partners
• Design and build secure APIs for card lifecycle & transactions
• Handle webhooks, async events, and financial data flows
• Set architecture and engineering standards for future BaaS expansion

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong backend skills (Node.js / Python / Go / Java)
• Frontend experience (React / Next.js)
• Proven experience with payments, card issuing, or fintech APIs
• Strong understanding of security, compliance, and data correctness

Preferred

• Experience with card processors (Marqeta, Stripe Issuing, Adyen, etc.)
• BaaS, PCI‑DSS, or fintech compliance exposure
• Startup or early‑stage experience
