Job Overview
We are looking for a Senior Graphic Designer who goes beyond execution. This role requires a strong balance of creative thinking, visual leadership, and hands‑on design excellence. You will be expected to own projects end‑to‑end, contribute to ideation and creative direction, manage your own timelines, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and guide junior designers to produce high‑quality, consistent work aligned with brand and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Direction & Execution
- Develop strong visual concepts from ideation to final execution
- Translate brand strategy and marketing objectives into clear, impactful visual outputs
- Maintain and elevate visual quality and consistency across all channels and touchpoints
- Produce high‑quality design assets with strong attention to layout, typography, color, and detail
- Deliver work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment without compromising quality
- Actively contribute to creative brainstorming, campaign concepts, and visual storytelling
- Provide multiple creative approaches, not just single‑solution execution
- Clearly articulate design rationale and decision‑making
Project Management & Mentorship
- Manage multiple projects and priorities independently
- Plan and estimate timelines realistically, ensuring on‑time delivery
- Communicate progress, risks, and adjustments proactively
- Collaborate closely with product, business, and other stakeholders
- Present ideas and designs clearly and confidently
- Guide and support junior designers through direction, feedback, and review
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in graphic design (agency, startup, or in‑house)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating:
- Conceptual thinking and ideation
- Brand and campaign work
- High‑quality visual execution
- Strong foundation in graphic design essentials (layout and composition, typography, color theory, branding systems)
- Ability to translate abstract ideas and business goals into clear visual solutions
- Strong critical thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and timelines independently
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior designers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable giving and receiving constructive feedback
- Good communication skills in English for a professional work environment
Tools & Workflow
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Able to utilize AI tools as part of the creative workflow, such as for:
- Ideation and visual exploration
- Moodboarding and reference generation
- Speeding up repetitive or exploratory design tasks
- Understands when to use AI effectively and when hands‑on design judgment is required
Nice to Have
- Experience actively utilizing AI tools as part of daily design workflow, not just experimentation
- Experience in fast‑paced or startup environments, especially in fintech startup
- Experience working closely with production teams, especially for printed materials (e.g. packaging, POSM, signage, marketing collateral)
