Senior Architect (Deputy to the Architecture Manager)
The Senior Architect will work closely with the Architecture Manager and act as her direct support within the department. This role requires a highly experienced and reliable professional capable of ensuring design quality, managing production, and supervising the team when the Architecture Manager is absent. The Senior Architect is responsible for guaranteeing that all project directives, moodboards, and design guidelines established by the Architecture Manager are executed with precision and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the overall design process for various project types (residential, hospitality, commercial, etc.).
- Produce accurate architectural drawings, detailed masterplans, and technical layouts.
- Ensure strict adherence to the design intent and creative direction provided by the Architecture Manager.
Technical Production
- Demonstrate advanced proficiency in SketchUp (3D modeling and volumetric studies).
- Deliver precise drawings and clean, organized project files.
- Maintain high standards of technical quality across all outputs.
- Supervise, guide, and support junior and intermediate team members.
- Manage daily workflow and quality control in the absence of the Architecture Manager.
- Review, correct, and approve work produced by the team to ensure alignment with project requirements and company standards.
- Help maintain a productive, structured, and accountable work environment.
Coordination & Communication
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (interior design, engineering, construction, etc.).
- Represent the architecture team in internal or external meetings when required.
- Clearly communicate the Architecture Manager’s directives to the team and ensure they are implemented accurately.
- Identify issues or delays proactively and report them promptly.
Direct Support to the Architecture Manager
- Assist the Architecture Manager in the day‑to‑day operations of the department.
- Ensure strict compliance with all moodboards, project guidelines, and creative instructions.
- Act as a reliable right‑hand person, helping maintain the department’s overall quality and efficiency.
- Contribute to decision‑making and provide professional insight when needed.
Required Profile
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience in architecture.
- Proven experience in a senior, supervisory, or team‑leading role.
Technical Skills
- Expert‑level mastery of AutoCAD.
- Strong proficiency in SketchUp.
- Ability to deliver detailed and accurate masterplans.
- Solid understanding of architectural standards and technical detailing.
Creative & Analytical Skills
