Job summary

A leading finance company in Balikpapan is looking for an experienced finance professional to oversee day-to-day operations, manage payment transactions, ensure tax compliance, and support internal audits. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, at least 4 years of accounting experience, and strong knowledge of Accounting Standards. Proficiency in English and excellent computer skills are essential. This role offers a dynamic work environment.

Job description

Oversee day-to-day finance and accounting operations (journal entry, AR/AP reconciliation, bank reconciliation, amortization, etc).

Perform scheduled financial reporting both for local management and for consolidation reporting purpose.

Manage payment transactions including receiving and classifying invoice, applying payment requests, confirming receipts or evidence of payments, transferring money through bank transfer or cash, and managing petty cash.

Ensure monthly and annual tax compliance and reporting (WHT, VAT, CIT) and manage tax-related administration.

Monitor fixed asset and conduct periodic fixed asset checking.

Prepare and support internal and external audit compliance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in economics, accounting/banking or equivalent.

Good knowledge of Accounting Standards (PSAK and IFRS) and Tax filling (preferably have Tax Brevet A&B).

Have at least 4 years working experience in accounting.

Have working experience in Public Accounting Firm is preferable.

Excellent computer skills including Microsoft office and accounting software.

Proficient in English both oral and written.

Accurate, diligent, responsible, and have a good attitude.

Able to work independently as well as working together as a team.

Possess general all-rounded accounting skills with analytical experience.

Preferable domicile at Balikpapan.
