Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Indonesia is seeking a Rigging and Scaffolding Foreman. The candidate will monitor site activities to ensure safety and compliance with rigorous standards. Responsibilities include supervising teams, preparing reports, and implementing SHE programs. Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience, a background in engineering, and ideally possess BP Migas and Basic Rigging certifications. Fluent English skills are an advantage.

Qualifications

• Min. 3 years experiences as a Rigging and Scaffolding Foreman.
• BP Migas certified and Basic Rigging certified would be an advantage.
• Knowledge in various rigging, lifting, and scaffolding techniques.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise site rigging/scaffolding activities.
• Ensure safe work practices and compliance with standards.
• Prepare and submit reports required by BMP on time.
• Supervise Foremen activities for technical and safety compliance.
• Implement SHE programs and ensure compliance with ISO standards.

Job description

Monitor and supervise site rigging/scaffolding activities to ensure rigging/scaffolding activities are conducted in a safe and timely manner conform with best possible quality of work.

Job Responsibilities

Exercise, direct, and ensure a safe work environment in the work area at all times: and ensure all store business work processes and activities are all done in safe works practices. Develop and follow JSA’s for all tasks. No near misses or injuries

Assist Mechanical / Piping Supervisor to develop a work schedule including parts, materials, and manpower to be incorporated in the MOS short term detailed execution plans. Effective schedules

Prepare and submit the regular report required by BMP to ensure report is submitted in timely manner. Project Engineer appraisal

Supervise Foremen activities to ensure work is technically correct and performed in a safe and cost effective manner Project Engineer appraisal

Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibility (involve identify, mitigate and monitor SHE risk), including SHE Management System to ensure the effectiveness of the programs conform to official standard, requirements and procedure applied and to confirm the execution of the SHE Responsibility meet the intended outcome - SHE risk well maintained

Education

High School Graduate of Engineering

Skill, Knowledge, and Experience

• BP Migas certified and Basic Rigging certified would be an advantage
• Knowledge in various rigging, lifting, and scaffolding techniques.
