A manufacturing firm in Indonesia is seeking a Key User for their SAP ERP system to support daily operations across various modules including Material Management, Production Planning, and Sales Distribution. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with strong communication skills and a thorough understanding of SAP processes. This role entails operating and maintaining SAP systems, providing guidance to business users, and collaborating with IT to resolve issues and optimize processes.
Serve as a Key User of the company’s SAP ERP system, responsible for daily operations, business support, and process execution.
Operate and maintain MM, PP, SD, WM, CO, and FI modules, ensuring smooth execution of manufacturing, supply, warehouse, sales, and financial processes.
Support day-to-day business operations, including:
Maintain and check business-related master data, including material, BOM, routing, customer, storage locations, pricing conditions, cost centers, and accounts.
Identify system or process issues and communicate effectively with IT or SAP consultants.
Assist in SAP system testing, process optimization, system upgrades, and new functionality rollout (UAT, regression testing).
Prepare and maintain SAP operation manuals, business process documentation, and conduct user training.
Monitor and enforce SAP operational standards to ensure data accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or related fields.
At least 3 years of experience as an SAP ERP system operator or Key User in a manufacturing environment.
Proficient in day-to-day operation and business processes of the following SAP modules:
MM (Materials Management): procurement, inventory management, material master data
PP (Production Planning): MRP, production orders, BOM, routing
SD (Sales and Distribution): sales orders, delivery, shipment, billing, customer master data
WM (Warehouse Management): inbound/outbound processes, storage locations, stock transfers, bin management
CO (Controlling): production cost, cost centers, cost settlement
FI (Financial Accounting): day-to-day postings, AR/AP, month-end operations
Strong business understanding, execution ability, and cross-department communication skills.
Able to clearly describe business issues and collaborate efficiently with IT and SAP consultants.
Experience with SAP ECC; familiarity with S/4HANA is a plus.
Previous experience as a factory-level SAP Key User / Super User.
Experience in integrated manufacturing, warehouse, and sales processes or Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
Participation in SAP system go-live, rollout, or process optimization projects.
Hands-on experience in manufacturing plant operations (sales, planning, warehouse, production, cost, or finance).
English language skills, suitable for working in multinational or overseas manufacturing environments.
