Sales Marketing Manager (Domestic) - Steel Component Manufacture, Cikarang

The Sales & Marketing Domestic Manager is responsible for managing and developing sales and marketing activities within the domestic market. This role focuses on expanding customer relationships, overseeing pricing strategies, ensuring sales targets are achieved, and maintaining a strong brand presence without a commission or incentive-based structure. The position is performance-driven and aligned with fixed compensation policies.

Responsibilities
  • Domestic Sales Strategy & Execution
    • Develop and implement sales strategies focused on the domestic market.
    • Set annual and monthly sales targets and monitor performance.
    • Identify new business opportunities within key industries (automotive, construction, heavy equipment, etc.).
  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
    • Serve as the key point of contact for major accounts and respond to inquiries or complaints professionally.
    • Conduct regular customer visits to understand market demand and ensure satisfaction.
  • Marketing & Branding
    • Coordinate marketing efforts such as trade shows, advertisements, product promotions, and digital presence.
    • Collaborate with production and engineering to align offerings with market needs.
    • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all channels.
  • Sales Administration & Reporting
    • Oversee the preparation of quotations, proposals, and contracts.
    • Monitor order processing, delivery schedules, and after-sales support.
    • Provide regular reports on market trends, competitor analysis, and sales performance.
  • Pricing & Cost Management
    • Develop and manage pricing strategies in coordination with the finance and production teams.
    • Ensure profitability targets are maintained without relying on commission-based incentives.
  • Team Collaboration & Coordination
    • Work closely with internal departments (production, planning, logistics) to ensure alignment with client expectations.
    • Lead internal meetings and contribute to strategic planning.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 - 15 years of experience in B2B industrial/domestic sales, preferably in steel or metal components manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of the domestic industrial market and distribution channels.
  • Proven experience in strategic account management and contract negotiations.
