We are seeking a Mid-Level Sales Manager with solid hands‑on experience in software sales, preferably in the HRMS/Payroll domain. The candidate should have prior experience managing a small team (2‑3 members) and must be based in Jakarta.
Role Overview
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving direct sales of HRIS software solutions to small and medium businesses (SMBs) in Jakarta and nearby regions while leading a team of 2‑3 sales professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive direct sales of HRIS software solutions to SMBs in Jakarta and nearby regions.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a small sales team (2‑3 members), ensuring target achievement.
- Manage individual sales performance and targets as well as overall team targets, providing necessary coaching and corrective actions.
- Conduct in‑person client meetings, product demos, and solution presentations.
- Identify new market opportunities, develop a healthy sales pipeline, and close deals.
- Build strong client relationships to enable upsell, cross‑sell, and long‑term account retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams (pre‑sales, support, marketing) to ensure customer success.
- Provide market feedback, competitor insights, and local sales intelligence to HQ.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5‑7 years of successful sales experience in software/SaaS solutions; HRMS/Payroll product sales experience is strongly preferred.
- Proven team management experience (managed 2‑3 team members).
- Working knowledge of CRM tools.
- Strong understanding of consultative selling, solution selling, and B2B sales cycles.
- The existing local business network in Jakarta will be a significant advantage.
- Ability to manage both individual and team sales targets effectively.
- Verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Self‑starter with high energy, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
Language Requirements
- Fluency in English (mandatory)
- Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia (preferred for local business engagement)
