Overview

Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity through its Indonesia entity, PT AHK Testing Indonesia, which is looking for a Sales Manager to join our team based in Jakarta. PT AHK Testing Indonesia provides independent analysis and inspection services to the metals, minerals and solid fuels industries. We have a well-earned reputation for our knowledge and professionalism in all aspects of weighing, sampling and analysis.

Responsibilities

The Sales Manager role is fully responsible for mainly generating revenue, driving sales strategy, boosting new clients acquisition, and overseeing business development for Coal throughout Indonesia specifically and Asia Pacific region as well by addressing the varied needs of customers at local, regional, and global levels. This role involves integrating products and services from various business units to effectively meet these diverse customer requirements and achieve the company\'s target and growth.

Qualifications

Essential

  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, selling and negotiation skills to drive the business and achieve the company’s monthly and annual target.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to create unique Sales strategy and excellent ideas as part of contribution into the Sales team.
  • Technical knowledge or experiences in Commodities Trading and Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) services.
  • Ability to analyse complex problems, interpret operational/sales/administration needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions.
  • Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports.
  • Skill in organising resources and establishing priorities.
  • Ability to lead, supervise and train employees, to include organising, prioritising, and scheduling work assignments.

Required Work Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of proven Sales track records & experiences in the mining industry (TIC/Surveyors, Commodities Traders, Miners).

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master degree of any major. This requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

Travel / Rotation Requirements

  • Travel as required both domestically and internationally.
  • Must have a valid passport and ability to obtain visas as necessary.
