The Sales Manager assists the Director of Sales in leading and supervising the Sales Team. He/she oversees all aspects of negotiation and coordination, and handles Corporate / FIT / M.I.C.E. / Social / Tour & Travel events as assigned. This role ensures the smooth operation of the department to maximize business opportunities and uphold high service standards.

What will I be doing?

As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Completing relevant Hilton University courses promptly and passing the tests.
  • Familiarizing yourself with hotel product knowledge and related activities.
  • Promoting and selling all hotel products, including rooms, catering, banquets, etc.
  • Achieving sales targets and related tasks set by the hotel.
  • Developing sales plans and obtaining approval from the Director of Sales or Commercial Director, maintaining and developing customers in the region or industry according to the plan.
  • Understanding customer needs through various sales methods, and achieving sales goals.
  • Producing quotations efficiently, sending contracts, and following up promptly.
  • Showing clients around the hotel.
  • Operating the hotel reservation system for bookings.
  • Sending work orders promptly and ensuring relevant departments receive necessary information.
  • Establishing good relationships with customers, updating customer information, and reporting needs and feedback to the hotel.
  • Recommending other hotel chains within the group to clients.
  • Proactively collecting market and industry information to share with the sales team and convert opportunities into confirmed business.
  • Understanding and monitoring competitors’ product information and feedback to the relevant departments.
  • Welcoming key customers, team leaders, and VIPs upon arrival.
  • Motivating and training team members to perform well.
  • Ensuring effective communication between the Sales team and hotel Operations.
  • Handling guest feedback or complaints.
  • Maximizing sales and forecasting revenue.
  • Supervising and guiding team members in developing quotes or contracts.
  • Participating in marketing plan development and collaborating to meet budgets.
  • Designing new hotel products based on market demand and managing related publicity and sales.
  • Organizing customer experiences and team-building activities to maintain and develop customer relations.
  • Analyzing tourist source markets and expanding channels.
