Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Executive to join our client, a Start-Up Poultry Distribution Company. The Sales Executive will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and expanding the market presence within the poultry industry. Responsibilities
- Devise and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or exceed sales targets and objectives within assigned territories.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new or existing customers/clients while actively identifying and pursuing opportunities to acquire new accounts.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of our poultry product line, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages, to effectively communicate value propositions to customers.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning. Utilize insights to adapt sales strategies and product offerings accordingly.
- Deliver persuasive sales presentations and effectively negotiate terms and pricing to secure profitable agreements with customers.
- Prepare accurate and timely sales forecasts, reports, and analyses to track performance metrics and provide insights to management.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams such as marketing, operations, and logistics to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and superior customer service.
- Prospect customers/clients and generate sales through new and renewal orders.
- Manage the renewal process and ensure that customers/clients receive excellent goods and services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven sales experience in the food industry, preferably in poultry distribution or related segments. Experience in a start-up environment is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the poultry industry, including market dynamics, distribution channels, and key players; has managed clients in the restaurant industry.
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth, negotiate effectively, and close deals. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends to inform sales strategies.
