Overview
Reporting to Area Sales Manager / Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the sales and marketing of full range of Phoenix Contact products in all areas within Indonesia.
Responsibilities
- Manage existing customers and develop new customers in East Indonesia area.
- Meet/exceed sales growth objectives as established by Sales leadership.
- Prepare quotations and follow up on sales inquiries/proposals from customers.
- Provide pre-sales technical assistance and after-sales support to customers.
- Regularly meet with customers to understand business status, identify opportunities, and foster strong relationships for revenue growth and retention.
- Prepare sales visits and project status/activity reports on a weekly basis or as required by immediate supervisor.
- Provide feedback to the team regarding competition, product and market needs.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops/trainings with customers for Management, Product Marketing, and Industry Management as required.
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve individual, team and departmental objectives, sharing knowledge and skills as appropriate.
- Demonstrate a positive and flexible approach to changing business priorities.
- Support marketing activities in seminars, trade shows, conferences and other events.
- Maintain a sound technical/application knowledge base on all products.
- Deliver presentations and hands-on demonstrations of Phoenix Contact products, applications, and technology for product sales.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in industrial electrical component sales.
- Experience within industries (Power, Process and Mining) is a plus.
- Fluent in English, both oral and written.
- Possess a valid driving license; own vehicle is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Proficient with Windows-based applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Customer-driven and results-oriented.
- Aggressive, persistent, proactive and a good team player.
- Disciplined, hardworking and able to perform under pressure.
- Willing to travel on short notice for activities such as training and trade shows.
