Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Country Sales Director for our Indonesia operations. The ideal candidate must have deep knowledge of the construction and building materials industry (especially the Vietnam market) and possess strong capabilities in market development, channel expansion, and team building. This role will be responsible for leading business growth in Indonesia, establishing a high-performing sales team, and driving revenue across key product lines including waterproofing materials, dry-mix mortar, pipes, adhesives, and related building materials.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Market Development
  • Develop and execute the overall sales strategy for Indonesia, aligned with the company’s regional growth plan.
  • Conduct in-depth market research on Indonesia and Vietnam building materials ecosystems, competitor landscape, pricing systems, and distribution networks.
  • Identify business opportunities, evaluate market potential, and open new channels including distributors, wholesalers, construction companies, contractors, and project developers.
Team Leadership & Organization Building
  • Build the Indonesia sales team from the ground up, including recruitment, coaching, performance management, and capability development.
  • Establish clear sales processes, KPI frameworks, and incentive mechanisms to ensure team efficiency and performance.
  • Provide continuous training on products, applications, and technical solutions tailored to local market needs.
Channel & Key Account Management
  • Expand and manage distribution networks in Indonesia, ensuring channel stability, profitability, and sustainable growth.
  • Drive key account development in sectors such as infrastructure, real estate, industrial construction, and government projects.
  • Coordinate with product, marketing, logistics, supply chain, and technical teams to ensure seamless support to customers.
Requirements
Professional Experience
  • Minimum 8–12 years of sales experience in building materials, construction chemicals, dry-mix mortar, waterproofing, pipes, gypsum board, adhesives, or related industries.
  • Proven experience in the Vietnam construction/building materials market is highly preferred.
  • Strong background in channel development, distributor management, key account expansion, and project-based sales.
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing sales teams, ideally during a market expansion phase.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
Language
  • Proficiency in English is required; Bahasa Indonesia or Vietnamese is a strong plus.
