PT Linyang Energy Cemerlang is a subsidiary of Jiangsu Linyang Energy Co., Ltd., a publicly listed smart energy technology company headquartered in China. With over two decades of global experience in smart metering, clean energy, and digital power systems, Linyang is at the forefront of energy transformation across Southeast Asia.

Our Indonesian operations are based in SCBD Jakarta, serving as the strategic hub for business development with PLN (Perusahaan Listrik Negara) and key partners. In parallel, our manufacturing facility in Tangerang supports localization and strengthens our supply chain to serve national infrastructure projects.

We are currently seeking a high-performing Sales & Business Development Manager (PLN Project – Smart Metering Industry) to spearhead tender participation, strategic engagement, and long-term partnership with PLN.

What You Will Do

As a Sales & Business Development Manager, you will combine hands-on sales execution with strategic business development. Your primary mission: securing PLN projects in smart metering and ensuring sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales and business development strategy for PLN-related projects.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities in PLN procurement programs (tender, direct appointment, partnership schemes).
  • Lead preparation, submission, and follow-up of tender documents, proposals, and commercial offers.
  • Develop strong and sustainable relationships with PLN stakeholders and government-linked institutions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, finance, legal, supply chain, HQ) to ensure compliance and successful project execution.
  • Negotiate contracts, manage client accounts, and oversee order-to-payment process.
  • Represent Linyang in industry exhibitions, training sessions, and PLN forums.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to refine commercial strategy.
What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a commercially driven leader with proven expertise in PLN projects and the Indonesian energy sector.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in PLN-related projects (mandatory).
  • Strong background in sales, business development, or project management in smart metering, EPC, or industrial electrical systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of PLN procurement processes and government project regulations.
  • Proven negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and contract management skills.
  • Fluent in English (spoken & written); Mandarin is a strong plus.
  • Skilled in market analysis, tender compliance, and risk management.
  • Able to lead cross-functional collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
