Job Title

Management Trainee (Trainer)

Responsibilities

• Implement monthly work plan and carry out each stage in reclamation, including land surface regulation, topsoil spread, erosion control, water management, crop and revegetation, cover and maintenance according to the reclamation plan.
• Prepare plans for provisioning of plant seeds and supporting materials for reclamation activities.
• Report on plant seedlings and fertilizers periodically for re‑seeding and re‑ordering.
• Report on the number and type of plants per hectare for each reclamation activity.
• Ensure plant care and extension activities are conducted periodically.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations, permits, emissions standards and waste‑management best practices.
• Develop and implement environmental management systems to minimize the environmental impact of mining operations.
• Coordinate environmental monitoring programs to assess air quality, water quality and soil contamination levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Forestry Science or Agricultural Science.
• Minimum three years’ experience as a reclamation engineer.
• Strong competencies in Mining Industry Knowledge, Mine Rehabilitation Management, Environmental Management, Documentation and Database Management, and Safety‑Health‑Environment Awareness.
