Job summary

A leading Electronic Manufacturing Services company located in Indonesia is looking for a quality manager to oversee the quality responsibilities for a specific customer group. Candidates should possess a degree in electronic or mechanical engineering, and have at least 5 years of managerial experience. Proficiency in English and Mandarin/Chinese is an advantage. The role includes driving quality improvements, handling customer feedback, and liaising with external audit parties. Located in Batam, this position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic team focused on customer quality assurance.

Responsibilities

  • Take overall responsibility in quality for customer group/cluster assigned.
  • Plan and supervise to ensure no RMA and no customer claims.
  • Drive improvements for the entire customer group/cluster.
  • Review and release quality reports to customers.
  • Answer customer complaints and/or queries related to quality.
  • Liaise for 3rd party audits for the entire customer.

Job Description
  • Take overall responsibility in quality for customer group/cluster assigned.
  • Main responsibilities include planning and supervising to ensure no RMA and no customer claims for the entire customer group/cluster.
  • Consolidate all improvement plans and drive improvements for the entire customer group/cluster.
  • Review and release quality reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, RMA reports, etc.) to customer including 8D report.
  • Serve as main window of company to answer customer complaints and/or queries related to quality.
  • Serve as main window of company for 3rd party audits (UL, CSA, ETL, TUV / Sud NRTL, etc.) for the entire customer.
