Role Overview

The Project & Maintenance Manager will be responsible for leading large-scale projects, infrastructure upgrades, and process improvement initiatives across multiple sites. This role ensures smooth execution of projects within budget, on time, and with high-quality results. It also involves deploying Lean Six Sigma practices to improve efficiency, build capability across teams, and deliver measurable business benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure and cross-functional projects.
  • Translate business objectives into actionable project plans with clear timelines and budgets.
  • Oversee project risk assessments, resource allocation, and status reporting to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with budget, timelines, and quality expectations.
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, IT) and external vendors to achieve project goals.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma (ELS/DfLS) tools to accelerate delivery, improve processes, and build quality.
  • Provide training and guidance to teams in Lean practices, value stream mapping, and process improvements.
  • Lead site layout optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Experience: 6+ years in project management, plant maintenance, or infrastructure projects.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale projects from planning to implementation.
  • Experience in Lean Six Sigma / process improvement preferred.
  • Industry Expertise: Background in manufacturing or FMCG industries.
  • Experience in project management within a plant or production environment.
  • Language: English (strong in written and spoken for regional reporting).
  • Technical Expertise: Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in MS Project, Excel, or equivalent project tracking tools.
  • Strong problem-solving ability with a business-oriented mindset.
  • Professional Attributes: Comfortable working with senior leaders, influencing across teams, and presenting project results.
