Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Indonesia is looking for a Production Supervisor. Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise end-to-end production activities and ensure the execution of daily production plans.
• Lead technical and shop-floor operations, ensuring productivity and process stability.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure timely resolution.

Team Leadership & People Management:

• Lead and supervise operators, foremen, and shift teams (typically 20–40 subordinates, 4-group shift).
• Maintain a disciplined, process-driven working culture.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members.

Quality, Safety & Compliance:

• Ensure production processes comply with company quality standards.
• Uphold safety protocols and ensure a safe operational environment.
• Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives.

Reporting & Coordination:

• Report to the relevant department heads.
• Coordinate with maintenance, QA, warehouse, and planning teams to support smooth operations.

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering, or related fields, from public universities
• Minimum 5 years as an Assistant Manager / Supervisor in manufacturing production operations.
• Experience supervising Production in Building Materials, including Steel/Metal/Plastic/Packaging
• Strong technical expertise and process understanding.
• Able to lead senior operators and foremen with firmness.
