Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-drivenProduction Manager for Label Industryto lead our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the label, printing and also packaging industry and possess strong leadership skills to manage and motivate large teams. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of production processes, production planning and scheduling, and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the production department, including monitoring performance, identifying, resolving issues and ensuring efficient production and high-quality output.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise production workflows and processes.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize production, quality, and cost management.
• Lead, coach, and motivate supervisors and production staff to achieve operational goals.
• Analyse production data and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with integrated management systems (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment).
• Conduct SWOT analysis, skill mapping, and strategic planning for workforce and operations.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's production strategy.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Production Manager in a Manufacturing Company, preferably in Label, Printing and Packaging Industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. And also strong understanding of production processes, planning, scheduling and inventory management.
• Proficient in data analysis and using production management software.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and Industry 4.0. And relevant tertiary qualification in a related field, such as engineering, production management or operations management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across functions.
