About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join PT Philips Industries Batam' as a Process Engineer - NPI, Mass Manufacturing, Consumer Lifestyle Electronics. As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and optimisation of manufacturing processes within the company's consumer lifestyle electronics division. This is a full-time position based in Batam, Riau Islands.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes for new product introductions (NPI)
• Optimise existing manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality and cost-effectiveness
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product design, to ensure seamless integration of processes
• Perform process capability studies and statistical analysis to identify and resolve process issues
• Develop process control plans, work instructions and quality control measures to maintain production standards
• Provide technical support and training to production teams to ensure adherence to processes
• Continuously monitor and analyse production data to identify opportunities for improvement

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a process engineering role, preferably in the consumer electronics or manufacturing industry
• Proficient in process design, optimization and troubleshooting, with a strong understanding of manufacturing principles and quality systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Proficient in the use of process simulation and data analysis tools
