Job description

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise pre-breeding research trials (marker development, field, diseases, and biotechnology-related activities)
• Coordinate with internal teams to execute research plans and trial requirements
• Conduct phenotypic observations, selection, and data recording using breeding software
• Analyze and organize research data to ensure accuracy and reliability
• Select and deliver promising intermediate lines for further breeding programs
• Supervise officers and field assistants to ensure trials run as planned
• Prepare research proposals, evaluations, and progress reports
• Continuously update knowledge on plant breeding, genetics, and biotechnology developments

Job Requirements

PHD in Plant Breeding or Biotechnology / Master’s degree (S2) in Plant Breeding or Biotechnology or related fields with minimum 2 years of relevant experience

Strong understanding of plant breeding, genetics, crop science, and basic biotechnology

Experience in research trials, data analysis, or breeding activities

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Good analytical, research, and problem-solving skills

Able to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment

Willing to travel domestically as required for research activities

Willing to work at Purwakarta, West Java
